14:6. ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸನು ಯೆಹೂದ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟೆಕೊತ್ತಲಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಆಸನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧವೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದನು.

14:6. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟೆ ಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ದೇಶವು ಶಾಂತವಾ ಗಿತ್ತು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ವರುಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

14:6. He built fortified cities throughout Judah, for the land was at rest and there was no war during those years; the LORD gave him peace.
